Don’t live to mark time, use time to make marks (Anonymous)
I have met a lot of wonderful people from all walks of life with big dreams and life aspirations but that is as far as it goes. You probably know someone like that too or perhaps you may even be that person with all the good intentions but no action.

Trust the instinct to the end, though you can render no reason. Ralph Waldo Emerson
You will agree with me that the marriage institution is more prone to breakages in these modern times than it was in the past. What is going on? This is a question that flashed a lot through my mind yesterday. I would like to share with you a couple of ideas that I am pretty sure will assist you in redefining your relationship with your spouse and help you to re-position it in order to succeed.

Be fit for more than the thing you are now doing. Let everyone know that you have a reserve in yourself; that you have more power than you are now using. If you are not too large for the place you occupy, you are too small for it. James A. Garfield, 1831-1881
I have not had the opportunity of meeting someone who has never made any mistakes in life. I dare say that you will know that you are making progress when you ‘fail forward’; make mistakes.

Every day you may make progress. Every step may be fruitful. Yet there will stretch out before you an ever-lengthening, ever-ascending, ever-improving path. You know you will never get to the end of the journey. But this, so far from discouraging, only adds to the joy and glory of the climb. (Sir Winston Churchill, 1874-1965)
DO YOU LOOK back and wish you could turn the arm of the clock in your favor? Do you reminisce the days you were passionate about the career path that you took? Are you nostalgic about the days when your relationship with your spouse was at an all time romantic tide? Was there a time you enjoyed a quiet an sober mind focused into the future but now everything seems a blur?

Do not be too moral. You may cheat yourself out of much life. Aim above morality. Be not simply good; be good for something. Henry David Thoreau, 1817-1862

The truth is that there is nothing noble in being superior to somebody else. The only real nobility is in being superior to your former self. Whitney Young, 1921-1971
One of the most amazing attributes of human beings is the fact that you can travel within while you are immobile without. You can be seated right there and now but your mind could be wondering in what didn’t happen yesterday. This is purely what works either towards your advantage or disadvantage.

Thought is action in rehearsal. Sigmund Freud
The whole world now is in sync with the happenings of FiFa world cup. In as much as it is commonly referred to as ‘football’, you will agree with me that there is similar or perhaps even more engagement from the ‘neck up’ than from the wrist down. The professional footballer is much aware of this fact than most of us do. I listened to one of them in an interview on television and really appreciated the fact that he took the trouble to unveil what he referred to as techniques in playing soccer.

Success is not the result of spontaneous combustion. You must set yourself on fire.
Reggie Leach
The revealed essence of a thing is based on the hidden parameters that are never too obvious for the common eye. For you to be able to read this blog posting, I had to work and touch on a number of control panels at the back office of this website for the characters to appear as they do whilst you read.

Learning is not compulsory... neither is survival. W. Edwards Deming, 1900-1993
I learnt with profound interest of a certain re-known senior citizen who devoted all her years in the teaching profession. When she got her retirement package, she invested all her savings into some sort of pyramid scheme and needless to say, she lost all that she had.

You can know the name of a bird in all the languages of the world, but when you're finished, you'll know absolutely nothing whatever about the bird... So let's look at the bird and see what it's doing -- that's what counts. I learned very early the difference between knowing the name of something and knowing something. Richard Feynman, 1918-1988
A couple of days ago, a friend allowed me to drive his mini-truck to deliver some luggage to the country side. By the time I was getting ready to drive back, darkness had already crept in. Although I got back to the city safely, I did have a rather unusual rough drive. The truck’s full lights were as good as dim lights.
